About These Terms
These terms apply when you use this website or ask Honest Plumber Twickenham, 45A Wellesley Rd, Twickenham TW2 5RX, to arrange a job. Ring 07480 487846 or send a form and you are agreeing to them, so please read them once. They are short on purpose, and the plain-language version of the process lives on how we work.
A Booking Service, Not a Plumbing Firm
Our part of the job is the front door. We take your call, note the fault and the address, and pass it to an independently owned local plumbing company in our partner network that can reach you and suits the problem. Before that company arrives, we text you its name and details. The jobs we arrange are listed under services.
Your Contract Is With the Partner
Whoever turns up is not an employee or agent of Honest Plumber Twickenham. The agreement for the actual work, whether a drain clearance, a boiler repair or a bathroom refit, is made between you and that company. It diagnoses, quotes, carries out the work and stands behind it.
Money
Honest Plumber Twickenham does not collect payment and does not send invoices for plumbing or heating work. You settle with the partner company that did the job, on the terms of the written quote you accepted. If a bill looks wrong, take it up with that company first.
Prices and Timings
Only the partner company can price a job, and it does so in writing before work starts, after it has seen the fault. We do not promise a price, a visit window or a completion date, whether on this site, by text or on the phone. Any figures shown on the site are published guides, not offers from us.
If Something Goes Wrong
Start with the partner company, which did the work and can usually put it right fastest. Still stuck? Ring 07480 487846 and we will help chase the matter with them. No outcome is guaranteed, but you will not be left to pursue it alone.
The Limits of Our Responsibility
We are responsible for taking your enquiry and making the match, so far as the law allows. The partner company is responsible for its workmanship, pricing, timing and conduct, and we are not. Your rights as a consumer under UK law stay exactly as they were.
Information on This Site
The pages here are general guidance about the service and the area, not a diagnosis, survey or quote for your property. Regulations and standards named on the site describe what work is built to and may be updated, so treat the partner company's written quote as the final word on your job.
How We Use Your Details
To arrange the match we give the partner company your name, phone number, address and a description of the fault, so it can plan a visit. That is the only use we make of your details, apart from following up if a problem arises. We do not sell them.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms as the service develops. The date at the top shows the latest version, and carrying on using the site or the service after a revision means you accept it.
